Court Approves Final Settlement of Nationwide Class Action Against Sears & Whirlpool

Meyer Wilson is pleased to announce a settlement of its nationwide class action filed against Sears & Whirlpool. Originally filed in January 2006, the nationwide class action lawsuit claimed that the Defendant designed, manufactured, distributed and supplied defective clothing dryers resulting in Class Members' premature failure through normal usage. The nationwide settlement class provided cash relief for all persons and entities who purchased one or more defectively designed dryers during the class period.
